CTER is building a research archive designed to separate raw observations, processed analysis, public reports, calibration records, and private or sensitive information.
Launch archive
Reports and datasets will appear here after quality review.
The first season is focused on protocol, safety, calibration, repeatability, and establishing a defensible dataset. Public release comes after the relevant review, permissions, privacy checks, and documentation are complete.
Technical reports
Analyses, methods, limitations, figures, and conclusions will be published only after internal quality checks and external review where warranted.

Public datasets
Datasets may be released with data dictionaries, method versions, processing notes, and appropriate removal of sensitive site or participant information.
Status: No public dataset yet.
Data policy
Traceability matters.
- Raw files are retained unchanged.
- Cleaning happens in separate processed copies.
- Units, field names, site IDs, and protocol versions are documented.
- Corrections and exclusions receive an audit trail.
- Questionable readings remain visible and flagged when scientifically appropriate.
Public release policy
Not every valid record belongs online.
- Protect student privacy and routine location information.
- Protect confidential partner information.
- Withhold sensitive ecological or access details when disclosure could create harm.
- Respect third-party data, permit, and publication restrictions.
- Publish contribution statements that distinguish student, adult sponsor, reviewer, and partner roles.
